Art at the Blue Island Public Library this Summer

The Blue Island Public Library invites you to celebrate art this summer with a series of special exhibits and events. Specifically Sid Weiskirch’s collection of over 30 Hal Foster drawings will be on display from July 11-August 11. Hal Foster, a Chicagoan, created Prince Valiant, adapted Tazan into the comic strip form and is regarded as “The Father of Comic Book Art”.
