Cold Weather Warning

The temperatures will dip below zero Saturday until Tuesday. The Blue Island Police and Fire Department is asking everyone to look out for our elderly citizens.

Please check on your neighbors and be vigilant for anyone needing assistance due to the colder temperatures.

If anyone needs assistance contact the Dispatch center at 708-385-1313 or 911.

The dispatch center will contact the building department for heat complaints and/or get someone to a warming center.

We will be conducting resident checks during this inclement weather.
