E-Waste Recycling Drive

Did you know that nearly 75% of old electronics is put in the back of closets, garages and other storage areas around the home or workplace because of the uncertainty of how to dispose of them? Ben Smith’s Eagle Scout Project will solve your dilemma! Bring your e-waste to Blue Island’s Public Works Facility at 3153 Wireton Rd. on Saturday, October 8th, between 10 am to 2 pm.

Recyclable items include: DVD/VHS players, cell phones, mp3 players, computers and accessories, cable boxes, modems, and video game systems. A Certificate of Data Destruction is available on request.

So clear out the clutter the right way, and support a local Scout – recycle your e-waste on October 8th!
