Mayor Vargas is inviting all Blue Island residents to participate in the People’s Parade on the 4th of July! A 3-mile long parade route starting at the WWII Airplane located in
Memorial Park, 12804 Highland Street. The parade winds through Blue Island down Walnut Street, Greenwood, York, Maple, Union and then back to the Park. Bring your family, friends, pets, bicycles and wagons and be a part of the parade. So join the Peoples Parade, Thursday, July 4th at Noon!
