Do you have a taste for freshly picked tomatoes? How about adding new flavors to your dishes with fresh herbs, garlic or onions? Would you like to dress your dinner table with a fresh bouquet of Zinnias ? If you do, then visit the California Gardens Community Gardens table at the Monday, August 26th, School District 130 Farmers Market outside Beggar’s Pizza at 127th & Western. Not only will you be able to purchase fresh grown vegetables herbs, and flowers, you’ll also be showing your support for all the hard work the volunteers did to make this garden a success! Volunteers not only shared their garden fare with friends and families, but they also donated produce to area food pantries. The Farmers Market hours are from 3:00-7:00pm. Thanks to all the volunteer gardeners!
