On Thursday, November 21st, Mayor Domingo Vargas officially opened three streets that underwent major reconstruction; Grunewald Street, Orchard Street and Collins Street, from Western Avenue to Greenwood Avenue. The ribbon cutting event Took place at the corner of Western Avenue and Orchard Street
City Officials in attendance included Mayor Vargas, City Clerk Randy Heuser, City Treasurer Carmine Bilotto, Aldermen Candace Carr and Jan Ostling (along with her granson, Mason). Tom Nagle with Robinson Engineering, Frank Berrini, Public Works Superintendent and Mark Miller, Special Projects were also in attendance.
