The Blue Island Public Library (Youth Services Department) is hosting speaker Willie Scott, who will explain the traditions of Kwanzaa, the meaning of the seven symbols of Kwanzaa and will convey the Nguzo Saba of the seven days of Kwanzaa. The event will enlighten and educate. Blue Island Library, Monday, December 16th at 7pm. Kwanzaa is celebrated from December 16th through January 1st.
