Black History Month Celebration

Blue Island Neighborhood watch Group #37 has put together a wonderful program to celebrate Black History Month. There will be music, refreshments and the guest of honor is Tyrone Haymore, founder of the Robbins Historical Society and Museum. The Highlighted presentation is the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This free event promotes and shares the knowledge of Historians and Afro-American Legendary Events.
When: Friday, February 21st,, 7:00 – 9:30pm
Where: East Annex, 2434 Vermont Street (there is free parking in the City Lot across Vermont Street
