The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to replace the current Red Light Camera System and/or change locations at intersections throughout the City. The goals of the City of Blue Island are two-fold. First, to reduce fatalities, serious injuries and property damage that result from collisions at the City intersections, to improve overall motorist and pedestrian safety and awareness Citywide through a coordinated outreach and education effort. Secondly is to ensure efficiency when it comes to pursuing these goals. To submit your proposal please e-mail to mjanastasia@cityofblueisland.org or drop off a proposal in the Clerk’s office at City Hall, 13051 Greenwood avenue between 7:30am and 4:00pm.
