Community Seed Exchange

Learn more about seeds and seed saving at the first Blue Island Community Seed Swap. Join a gathering of people who are sharing seeds. Experts, novices and the curious are welcome to share and take seeds. Seeds may be grown locally, donated by seed companies, excess bought seeds, or seeds brought from another region.

Fruit, vegetable, herb and flower seeds will be arranged and available for swapping or for a small donation to the community garden. Local and expert gardeners will be available to answer questions. Local gardening information and displays.

Seed savers encouraged to arrive early to organize their seeds
Fee: free; swap seeds at no cost; $.50/pkt if you don’t have seeds to share
