VETERANS’ DONATION DRIVE- On Saturday, November 8, 2014, The City of Blue Island will be partnering with THE VET TECH PROJECT, to host a Veterans’ Donation Drive. Between the hours of 8am and 2pm, we will be accepting items such as: Electronic Waste (anything with a cord!), Ink cartridges, gently used clothing & shoes. Please drop off donated items to the Public Works Facility, located at 3153 Wireton Road. For any additional info, please contact Melissa Fuller at (708) 597-8604.
