On Saturday, October 25th, Mayors and Legislators joined Gov. Quinn the the dedication of the I57/294 Interchanges. This Interchange allows trucks easily connect I57 with I294. The majority of truck traffic on 127th Street in Blue Island is Truckers trying to connect from one of the roads to the other. This should eliminate a lot of that traffic.
