Remember our Wounded Soldiers at Christmas

On Sunday, December 7th at 4:00pm, St. Joseph/St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, 2453 Oak Street (at Greenwood), Holiday Party and Gift Drive for Hospitalized and Homeless Veterans. “We invite you to share your Christmas joy with our wounded soldiers and homeless veterans at our Potluck party. Please bring holiday gifts and survival gear to our annual Christmas party at the church. We will take these gifts to wounded soldiers or homeless veterans at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Hines VA Hospital, and Manteno VA Hospital.”
Survival gear: blue jeans, sweat suits, coats, gloves, socks, carves, sweaters, caps, etc. Personal items; toiletries, toothpaste, shaving kits, etc. Books, gift cards, phone cards, pro sports tickets, etc. – Do not wrap the gifts; Bring gifts to the church; Christmas cards and personal notes are welcome.
