The City of Blue Island will again be hosting our Annual New Year’s Eve Celebration, Rock Around the Clock.
The corner of Western avenue and Vermont Street will be closed at 11:30pm on 12/31. Free Party Favors will be distributed and at Midnight, the Fire Truck will drop a lighted ball and Fireworks will be up in the air. Fun for Party Goers and Families alike!
Western Avenue from 127th – 131st will be open only to local traffic from 12/31/14, 11:30pm through 1/1/15, 12:30am. Vermont Street will also be closed from Greenwood Avenue – Irving
Street.
