Blue Island Honors Arbor Day

The Blue Island City Council passed a Proclamation stating April 16, 2015 as Arbor Day in Blue Island. Click to read the Arbor Day Proclamation 2015.

On Thursday, April 16th, The Student Council and Student Representative from Gordon Elementary School helped Mayor Domingo Vargas plant a tree in front of the Blue Island Recreation Center. A total of four Flowering Crab Trees were planted by Public Works.
