The Blue Island American Legion Post 50, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the Legion will host their annual Memorial Day Observance at 11 am on Monday, May 25th at Memorial Park. All are invited to attend.
Post 50’s Annual Pancake Breakfast is on Saturday, May 30th from 7 am to 1 pm at Christ Memorial Church. Tickets are $5 per person (5 and under are free) and includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice and milk. All proceeds will benefit a free community event, “A Veterans Celebration,” in August to honor and pay tribute to our Veterans and Servicepersons.
