Overnight Parking Ordinance

Please be aware of the new Overnight Parking Ordinance that requires vehicles parked on residential streets from 2:00 am to 6:00 must display a valid Blue Island City Sticker. Below are the only exceptions:

Emergency vehicles and Physicians on emergency calls
Licensed Caregivers
Person(s) who have been issued a handicapped parking permit by the City of Blue Island

If you have a vehicle that falls into one of the above categories, please fill out a Permanent Visitor Permit Application and submit it to the City Clerk’s Office.

If you  have a visitor who is staying the night, please utilize the online reporting request for overnight parking: https://www.frontlinepss.com/blueisland

EFFECTIVE JULY 5, 2015, the Blue Island Police Department will begin enforcing this ordinance by issuance of a citation for non-compliance. For more information call the City Clerk’s office at 708-597-8603.
