It’s that time of year again! It’s the Blue Island Park District’s BBQ on the Hill. Time to put your family recipe to the test! The BBQ on the Hill is a Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event that will put 20 amateur cooks head to head for the right to call their ribs the best in town. Rib Cook-Off participation is open to the public. Competition is limited to amateur cooks only. For those not good with a grill we will be hosting a rib samplings event, food vendors, family entertainment, a beer garden, and live music.
