Flooding in your Community Meeting

Header

Cook County and its Partners are hosting a series of community workshops related to improving the region’s resilience to extreme weather, especially rainstorms that cause floods and damage homes and businesses. This is a follow-up to the community meeting that Cook County held in February 2015 in which your neighbors expressed frustration at the chronic flooding in their neighborhoods.

Cook County would like to share with you proposed solutions to address flooding and increase capacity in your community. The purpose of these meetings is to hear your feedback, based on your needs and the needs of your community. For example, these solutions could increase property values, improve health, community amenities and your quality of life.
