Join the engineers of the Cal-Sag Trail, AECOM, are holding a Public Information Meeting to review proposed plans for the east half of the trail. The meeting will be at Blue Island East Annex, 2434 Vermont Street, on Wednesday, May 31st from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.

Alsip Park District (Segment 1)
• Alignment along Pulaski Road (Crawford Avenue) moved from east parkway to west parkway from 129th Street to 131st Street
Village of Alsip (Segment 2)
• Improvements from the 131st Street/Pulaski Road intersection to 131st Street/Kedzie Avenue will be performed as part of a roadway reconstruction project with the Cook County DOTH
City of Blue Island-West (Segment 3)
• Trail realigned along Vermont Street (Wireton Road) to on-street, buffered bike lane facility between Francisco Avenue and Greenwood Avenue
Village of Riverdale (Segment 6)
• Realigned Trail spur connection to the Major Taylor Spur in Whistler Woods (Cook County FPD property)
• Realigned Trail along from Halsted Street/Frontage Road to 138th Street/Union Avenue
• Realigned Trail from 137th Street/Wabash Avenue to 138th Street/Michigan Avenue
Village of Riverdale – Halsted Street Bridge Improvements (Segment 7)
• Revised shared-use path alignment across SN 016-0194, above CSX Railroad
Dolton Park District (Segment 8)
• Supplemental Environmental Survey limits within the existing wetland between I-94 and Torrence Avenue crossing through the City of Calumet City and the Village of Dolton
• Trail realigned through the Village of Burnham from east of Torrence Avenue to State Street/Alice Avenue
