The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) requires us to notify residents about the quality of its drinking water annually. Blue Island buys water from the Chicago system. I am pleased to report that our Blue Island drinking water once again, exceeds the standards set by the U.S. EPA for safe, clean drinking water.
