Each year Blue Island’s Finest and Blue Island’s Bravest play a charity Guns Vs. Hoses Basketball game to support the athletic programs at St. Benedict’s School. Each year the Fraternal Order of Police, Blue Island Lodge 180 members make up the team for the Blue Island Police Department and BEAT the Blue Island Firefighters! This year we are also getting involved in St. Baldrick’s and we are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! We are looking for shavees to raise donations! Anyone can join the team to fight childhood cancer.
