In honor of Patriot Day, there will be a ceremony in front of the Blue Island Police Department on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019. The ceremony will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will last for approximately 10 minutes. Refreshments to follow. City officials, city employees, and residents are welcome and invited to attend.
Please note: Greenwood Street from Vermont Street to New Street will be blocked off for approximately 45 minutes for the ceremony.
