Blue Island Public Library Offers Curbside Pickup

Blue Island Public Library is planning to make library materials and services available to patrons in a contact-free curbside pickup service, per the May 1 modifications to the governor’s stay at home order. The library is taking every precaution to ensure that this service is provided in a way that is safe for patrons as well as library staff to enjoy our collections while in-person library services remain unavailable.

Contactless Curbside Pickup will be available beginning May 13, 2020. Additional services, such as appointments to use the computer, may become available in the coming weeks. In addition to contactless pickup of library materials, Reader’s Advisory, Technology Help, and Research Services will be available via phone or email. Wireless printing will be available to library card holders as well through our web print service and curbside pickup. Check out our Youtube and Facebook pages for all our Virtual Programming, and our website at blueislandlibrary.org for more service and information updates.
