For proper establishment of trees that have been planted over the past 2 years, please continue to water regularly,ie- every other day, during dry weather.
Suggested methods are:
• 3 to 4 five gallon buckets of water at the base of the tree
• Use a slow trickle from the hose for 15 to 20 minutes
In addition,remove grass and weeds from the base of the tree. The Student Conservation Association will be mulching trees planted last year during the summer months.
