Earlier today, the City of Chicago preemptively issued a water boil order for a small segment of the city as a result of a loss of pressure in their systems.
The City of Blue Island and our water supply did not experience any loss of pressure in the system and is not affected by Chicago’s order. Blue Island’s water supply continues to be safe to use and consume.
