Notice of Public Hearing on Annual Appropriation Ordinance CITY OF BLUE ISLAND, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Blue Island City Council on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Blue Island Council Chambers located at 2434 Vermont Ave. Blue Island, IL 60406 to consider the City’s annual appropriation ordinance for the Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022.

YOU ARE HEREBY invited to attend said public hearing and will be given the opportunity to be heard or to submit written testimony in respect to an issue pertaining to the annual appropriation ordinance or any line item therein contained. A copy of the annual appropriation is available for examination or copying during normal business hours in the office of the City Clerk, 13051 S. Greenwood Ave, Blue Island, IL 60406 or online at www.blueisland.org.

After the public hearing and before final action is taken on the annual appropriation ordinance, the City Council may revise, alter, increase or decrease any line item contained in the annual appropriation ordinance. The annual appropriation ordinance may be adopted at any time after the public hearing.
