Come to the Blue Island Public Library, 2433 York Stree, on Tuesday, February 3rd at 7:00pm to hear a coyote expert talk about what Chicago’s top predator is doing in the south suburbs. This is the first of a four-part series on Calumet Wildlife that the Library is hosting.

Eighteen New Syringa Ivory Silk Lilac Trees are being planted on Olde Western Avenue . Public Works is doing a great job planting these trees. Mayor Vargas noted that the Trees will look great in the Spring and the planting is part of the beautification of Blue Island!
