City of Blue Island Think Outside the Loop
Please be aware of the new Overnight Parking Ordinance that requires vehicles parked on city residential streets from 2:00 am to 6:00 must display a valid Blue Island City Sticker. Below are the only exceptions:
Emergency vehicles and Physicians on emergency calls
Licensed Caregivers
Person(s) who have been issued a handicapped parking permit by the City of Blue Island
If you have a vehicle that falls into one of the above categories, please fill out a
Permanent Visitor Permit Application and submit it to the City Clerk’s Office
EFFECTIVE JULY 5, 2015, the Blue Island Police will begin enforcing this ordinance by issuance of citation for non-compliance. For more information call the City Clerk’s office at 708-597-8603.
